Up and coming Nederland-based Gipsy Moon is one band not to be missed and on March 5th the group is headlining INDIEcent Exposure on at The Larimer Lounge (2721 Larimer St.) in Denver, Colorado. Expect to be impressed by Gipsy Moon, a group of “wandering artists on an endless journey toward good times and raw expression.” The band, comprised of Silas Herman
(guitar/mandolin), David Matters (banjo/vocals/guitar) Mackenzie Page (guitar/vocals/tenor), Andrew Conley (Cello) and Collin Huff (bass/vocals/guitar), is a traditional folk/bluegrass ensemble. Their natural surroundings in Nederland inspire their collection of Gipsygrass, creating a one-of-a-kind music experience that will have you coming together
with all others to dance, sing, and shout. “They play original songs in a style all their own,” said Dan Rodriguez of Elephant Revival. “Already a fine wine, Gipsy Moon will only continue to deepen as they prepare themselves in the gypsy tradition to bring their exciting and spirited music everywhere and in-between.”
Presented by Bridging The Music, INDIEcent Exposure showcases local and regional acts performing Indie rock, Americana, folk, country, and everything in between. Other acts on the bill include Someone’s in for an Explosion, Lucid Vigilantes, Admodum, Swim Thru Frequencies, The Circus House, and We Were Cosmonauts.
